Barbia Jean Sanders, age 67, passed away on February 2, 2026 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville where she built her home, her family, and her legacy.

Barbia was retired and devoted much of her life to her family and those she loved. She was a widow and is survived by her four children: Travis Toomer, Frederick Toomer, Stephanie Crumbley, and Caressa Rosier. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Alexus, Nichole, Cameron, James, Danielle, and Mya, as well as three grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She is further survived by her siblings: Bobby and Charleszatta.

Known for her generous spirit and fun-loving nature, she truly loved life. She was often described as the life of the party, bringing laughter, warmth, and joy wherever she went. Her kindness, energy, and ability to make others feel welcome will be remembered always.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, all whom had the pleasure of knowing her.
