It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Darrel Anthony Wilson, who departed this life on August 14, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 36. Darrel was born on July 27, 1990, to Larry Wilson, Jr. and Tanika Wilson. He was a beloved son, devoted father, brother, family member, and friend whose presence brought love and cherished memories to those around him.

One of the greatest joys in Darrel’s life was spending time with his beloved daughter Dery’el Antoinette Wilson. The time they shared was precious to him, and the love he had for his daughter will continue to live on through her. Darrel also treasured the time he spent hanging out with his brothers and family. He enjoyed the laughter, conversations, and special moments they shared together. He had a love for playing chess with his Grand-Dad, a game that reflected his patience, focus, and a strategic mind.

Darrel leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved daughter, Dery’el Antoinette Wilson; his parents, Larry Wilson Jr. and Tanika Wilson; his siblings Larry Wilson II, Sam Leverett (Angelique), and Ashanti Wilson. He will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family, friends, and all who have the privilege of knowing him. Though his time with us was far too short, Darrel’s memory will continue to live on through his daughter, his family, and the many lives he touched. The love he shared, the moments he cherished, and the memories he created will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

May he rest peacefully, forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
