Donita Anne Bennett-Isom of Jacksonville, Florida entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 19, 2026, at St. Vincents Hospice Care. She was born August 22, 1955 in Newark, New Jersey to Shirley Langley and Richard White.

Donita was a resident of Florida for many years. She was a loving, caring and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a devoted member of the church of The Living God.

Cherishing her life and memories are her husband, Kevin Isom; two children, Alicia Bennett (Jimmie) and Garry Bennett (Nicole); six grandchildren, Isiah Bell, Denzel Bell (predeceased) Elijah Bell, Byshawn King (Trenee), Otae Wooden, and Javon Bennett; nine great grandchildren, Josiah Bell, Qubin Bell, Tijiana Bell, Harley Bell, Tayla King, Tamai King, Trinity King, Byshawn King Jr. and Omega Wooden; one sister, Deitra Hull; two brothers, Keith Simpkins (predeceased), and Rodney Simpkins; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donita may be viewed on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Carthage Chapel Funeral Home, from 4:00 p.m. Until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Logan Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32204 and the interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery South.
