Jacinda Latonya Heatrice, affectionately known as "Cindy", was born on November 23, 1978, in Miami, Florida. She entered eternal rest on April 1, 2026, surrounded by her family. Her life was a testament to resilience, devotion, and unwavering love for her family.

Cindy spent early years in Miami and graduated from Rickards High School, Class of 1997. She later attended Florida State University where she pursued studies in physiology. She relocated to Jacksonville Florida-a move that marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with growth and purpose.

Cindy's move to Jacksonville began her journey as a committed employee with strong worth ethics. She worked with the Department of Revenue as a mail sorter from 1998 to 1999. In 2000, she began her career with ADT Security, where she faithfully served as a Customer Service Representative for 25 years. Her dedication, reliability, and compassion left a lasting impact on colleagues and customers.

When it came to family, Cindy was even more dedicated. She was a devoted mother to her four girls, G'hani White, J'Nya Richardson, Ayana Richardson, and Ayala Richardson; and she eagerly anticipated the arrival of her first grandchild.

Jacinda was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Heatrice.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her father, Dale Barton, and her sisters, Chantelle Heatrice and Josephine Barton, along with a host of extended family members, friends, and loved ones who were touched by her laughter and giving spirit.

Jacinda will be remembered for her warm smile, her gentle heart and the steadfast love she poured into everyone around her. Her legacy lives on in her children. her family. and all who were blessed to know her.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2026, at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Logan Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32204.
