Lillian A. Jernigan‑Gillard passed away on September 22, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1952, and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and caregiver.

Lillian graduated from Raines Senior High School and spent her career serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her dedication, steady work ethic, and compassion were evident throughout her years in the healthcare field.

She is survived by her children: Angus Newton, Abeokuta Hall, and Tammie Gates; as well as eight grandchildren, who will remember her with love and gratitude.

Lillian’s life was marked by service, family, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
