Miriam Sebrena Byrd was born on March 3, 1971, to Shirley Marie Miller and Hiram Bristol.

She had a smile and a laugh that could light up any room she walked into. She always put her all into her family and friends, and she will forever be missed but held close in our hearts. She was a spiritual giant who loved the Lord with all of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Shirley Marie Miller; father, Hiram Bristol; and her brothers, Victor Bristol, Benjamin Bristol, and Robert "Piggy" Pollard.

Miriam leaves to cherish her loving memory, her Grandma Jessie Mae Greene; beloved husband, Gregory L. Byrd Sr.; her two sons, Lorenzo Ferguson III and Demarae Byrd; her step son Gregory L. Byrd Jr., her step daughters Annashika Smith and Enrica Byrd, and her grandchildren, Lorenzo Ferguson IV, Ezekiel Ferguson, Naomi Ferguson, and Reina Byrd.

She also leaves behind her loving siblings, Rico Pollard and Brian Williams, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and love.

Though she is no longer with us in body, Miriam's love, laughter, wisdom, and legacy will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts.

"Miriam's life was a testament to love, family, faith, and fellowship. Her laughter filled rooms, her smile lifted spirits, and her love touched generations. Though we mourn her passing, we celebrate a life well lived and a legacy that will continue through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Mrs. Byrd, may be viewed on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Greater Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 6317 118th Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32244, from 10:00 a.m. Until 11:00 a.m.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Greater Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 6317 118th Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32244 and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Orange Park, Florida.
