Tania spent her early years in Delaware, Ohio, attending St. Mary's Elementary School and graduating from Rutherford B. Hayes High School. She went on to earn advanced degrees from Wilmington College of Ohio and the University of South Florida.

Tania Renee Yount, born July 14, 1967 in Galion, Ohio to Dennis Yount and Donna Riggle Rehling, passed away on July 20, 2026 after a courageous fight against pancreatic cancer.

In 1989, Tania moved to Clearwater, Florida and later settled in Jacksonville in 1993. There, she devoted 24 years of her professional life to The Salvation Army, followed by more than a decade of service with Barnabas Center in Nassau County, Florida.

Tania was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, as well as the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Planned Giving Council of North Florida.

She is survived by her beloved son, John Anthony Neloms, Jr., and his father, John Neloms; her father, Dennis Yount; her mother Donna Riggle Rehling; two stepsisters, Mary Beth Shepard(Richard) and Carolyn Schaefer(Alex), nieces and nephews, family friend Lou Bostic and special love, Reginald "Reggie" Robinson. Tania's love for her family was unconditional and evident to all who knew her.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 1773 Blanding Blvd. in Jacksonville, Florida, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life.

A reception will be held after the funeral mass in the St. Matthew's Parish Hall.
