Obituary

Temeka Jones-Crumley, a beloved mother and daughter, transitioned to glory on October 26,2025. Born September 15, 1976, to Larry Jones Sr. and Altamease Jones. She was a cherished friend, a pillar of strength for her family and a child of God.

Temeka was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School's class of 1994. She went on to further her education at Florida Metropolitan University and earned her bachelor's degree in business management.

For more than two decades, Temeka dedicated her career to serving her community through her work at Community Rehabilitation Center. Throughout her tenure, she held several positions, including Mental Health Clinician, Medical Records Supervisor, and Quality Assurance Manager. In each of these roles, she exemplified professionalism, compassion, and integrity, always striving to make a difference in the lives of those she served.

Temeka was a devoted member of Greater New Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in various ministries and found great joy in encouraging others through prayer. Her faith guided every aspect of her life and was evident in the love and kindness she extended to everyone she encountered.

Known for her leadership, strength, and gentle spirit, Temeka touched countless lives. She was admired for her dedication, her unwavering faith, and her ability to inspire others with her compassion and grace. Her light will continue to shine through the many people who were blessed to know and love her.

Temeka was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jimmy Jones and Agnes Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved children, LaDeidre Scott, Alan Crumley II, and Aiden Crumley; her cherished grandson, Christopher Greene Jr.; her loving parents, Larry Jones Sr. and Altamease Jones; her devoted siblings, Larry Jones Jr. (Shamaray), Gajarah Jones, and Sadaar Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

May her spirit live on in the hearts of those she loved and nurtured. Temeka's legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Ms. Temeka's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m.  Saturday, November 15, 2025, at West Union Missionary Baptist, 1605 West Beaver Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32209 and the Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery South.
