Obituary

Vincent Wade Johnson, 64 a resident of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025.

In his early childhood, Vincent along with his family was affilated with Seventh Day Adventist Church. After graduation from Jean Ribault Senior High School he moved to Detroit, Michigan and then to Atlanta, Georgia before returning home to Jacksonville, Florida, Vincent, known as "Vent" enjoyed family and life.

Vincent was preceded in death by his father, Abram Johnson; mother, Sarah Johnson-Gaither; sister, Cynthia Wright; and brother; Retired Sargent, Mckinley L. Johnson.

Those left to cherish his memories are his son. V. Johnson; sister, Retired Master Sargent, Peggy Delgado; brother, Alex Crakett; nephew, Ferdinand Delagdo, Jr., and friend, Tony Howard.

Mr. Johnson may be viewed on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Carthage Chapel from 3:00 p.m. Until 5:00 p.m.  Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, at Restlawn Cemetery South, 3301 Moncrief Road West, Jacksonville, Florida 32209.
